Guess which is from a China-based news source and which is from the US-based news source?
China Vs the USA
Both are right, it’s just the spin that's different....
But the Chinese approach does remind my of my favorite Ricky Bobby maxim: "If you ain't first, you're last"...so it explains their fixation on the 'gold'.
P.S. I'm told by Celine in fact that it is only the USA that is ranking by total medals....usually everyone ranks by 'gold medals'......oh well.
